Happy New Year!
The show at the Rock Nightclub last night with Far From Falling, Tepetricy and Blood Root Mother was AMAZING! Thank you to everyone who chose to spend their New Year’s Eve with us. It was a stellar lineup with an even better crowd.
We wish everyone a Happy New Year! And to start of 2010 we have a cool little announcement to make…
Tomorrow.
This Thursday Night!
We’re super-DUPER stoked for this New Year’s Eve show with our comrades in Far From Falling, Tepetricy and Blood Root Mother.
It’s ragin’ up at the Rock Nightclub in Maplewood, MN from 7:00 until after the big one-two.
So come out, gear up in all your rock formal wear for $2 off at the door and let’s do the damn thing!
New Ringtones!
Want your phone to practically blow up with the chorus of She Said when someone calls you? Or maybe, if someone calls when you’re napping, it can be a little less painful with Dominie. Either way, grab your Drift Effect ringtone!
Meet with World Record Productions
We cruised into Saint Paul last night to sit down with the guys of World Record Productions to talk about making the next Drift Effect Record. There’s nothing in stone or on paper as of yet but we’re going to go through the material we’re currently mulling over with them. Bounce some ideas of each other. Check out some of their work!
Jeremy Tappero of Attention and James Harley will be doing the production work. And a special thanks to Brad with Midwest Movement.
We’ll keep ya’ll posted!
New Year’s Eve Rock ‘N Roll Ball!
What would Slash wear to a formal event?
Answer that question, dress accordingly and get $2 off at the door for this insane New Year’s Eve party! Minneaplis rock all-stars Far From Falling, Tepetricy and Blood Root Mother are joining us at the Rock Nightclub in Maplewood, MN to bring in 2010 how we do.
$8 at the door, which opens at 7:oopm. Music starts at 8:00pm and it’s over when they kick you out!
SHOW CANCELLED: Moonlight Lounge – Mitchell, SD
Bummer. The venue cancelled the show on us. We’re VERY sorry to those that planned to come out and to those planning to make the trip out there. It was not our choice to cancel the show.
However, we will be at Dublin Square in Rapid City, SD this Friday and Saturday night!
Again, our sincerest apologies.
South Dakota better watch out!
Alright…we’ve been through South Dakota before. AND IT’S ALWAYS A GREAT TIME! Rapid City Friday and Saturday night and Mitchell Thursday night.
And help us out by calling Rapid City’s Rock Station KSKY at 605-716-KSKY and request She Said!
Unfortunately, East Eighteen won’t be doing this stretch with us. Yes, we’re bummed too. However, this means that we have a lot of time to fill ourselves. The plan is to have Ray start the show solo; playing songs just him and an acoustic. We’ve done this a couple times before and it’s always a fan favorite. Then the rest of us will jump up there and do our thing, with a few curveballs along the way. I can hear the faint calling of Jimi Hendrix, T-Bone Walker, Muddy Waters and young Clapton. Hmm.
Can’t wait to see all of you there. I know it’s been a while, longer than we like, but we’ll make this one a show for the books!
Blast with Janus
We had an AWESOME time this weekend with Janus. Not only are these guys great musicians and performers, they are just as gracious and humble as the next guy. We truly appreciate the opportunity to share the stage with them.
Check out their single “Eyesore”
Now on to the rest of the Collective Experience Tour! This week we’re going to Mitchell, SD and Rapid City, SD. If you’re in the area, come out and hang with us!
More news to come. Thanks for being on board with us! AND CHECK OUT JANUS!
